Okay...I Give Up...
Six weeks after the operation, I'm still weak and wobbly. Unfortunately, that means that I'm not going to be able to teach at Festival of Quilts this year. If you had booked for one of my workshops, please accept my profound apologies, but I'm just not well enough. This was confirmed by trying to take part in an exhibition on Sunday, and keeling over after an hour or so... not a good look.
Rest and more rest has been prescribed. I've been trying to work, but clearly, that's not helping at all. So I'm giving up for now. Hopefully, by the autumn, I'll be able to get on with things. For the meantime though, I won't be doing much at all, other than editing photographs. I will try to blog from time to time, but normal service isn't likely to be resumed until I'm feeling a lot better. Thank you to all my regular readers for their patience and perseverance over a year of very patchy communication. Normal service will be resumed as soon as I get my energy back!

Sorry to hear you are not well Marion, hope the rest will get you back on your feet.
Marion just take it slowly. just do stuff and take rest stops where you lay flat down. your body then tells itself you are being nice to it and really had never meant for it to go through such torture. Of course you can make a journal of it all and use all those pill descriptions for background!
Take it easy Marion. Do head-stuff, not body-stuff. Spend time doing easy things that make your brain think it's in its 'happy place'. Look after yourself first.
Get well soon. looking forward to hear from you.

Oh dear, so sorry to hear you pushed so hard. It's inevitable -- you don't know you've gone too far until you are there, keeling over. But I'm sorry you had to find out that way.
Take care. Autumn will come. Think of yourself as having the lazy teenage days you probably never had -- lie about, read, sleep, daydream, and allow your body to do its thing. Good vibes your way....
