We Are Not Alone...

in having problems with wind and weather today; here's a picture of my friend Sally Bramald's back garden. No, that isn't a giant Frisbee, it is indeed a trampoline. Just as well her daughter has pretty much outgrown such things... Come to think of it, I don't think that fence will ever be the same again...

At least neither of us is in Scotland, where I believe the weather is Much Worse...

OMG! We have a trampoline and I never thought the wind could lift it and move it.

And it is 30 foot away from where it started out! It took off like a giant Frisbee. I got it down but the frame was bent so I braved the wind one more time and cut the black bouncy stuff into quarters so the wind wouldn't lift it again. I was frightened it would hit the house or the windows. It was a 5 metre, 16 foot diameter one, so no light weight. The good news is that I had been trying to persuade my DD to part with it!!! Result!

WOW! That is some strong wind. Our weather has settled down a bit now, but the hills still have snow and we may yet get more wind and snow over the next couple of days.

Yippee! for the snow. Boo! for the wind, LOL!
